Extrusion Operator

Impact Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Extrusion Operator to join one of our clients on a permanent basis.

Role: Extrusion Operator
Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm
Location: Northampton
Salary: £35,000

Duties:

Safely operate extrusion and pelletising machinery in line with company procedures
Load extrusion machines and remove finished products
Set and adjust machine controls, including start-up and shutdown procedures
Monitor production output and machine performance
Identify, record, and report defects, non-conformances, and production failures
Complete production reporting, including extrusion run times and material output
Carry out basic machine maintenance and cleaning
Complete check sheets and defect reporting documentation
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environmentRequirements:

Previous experience with setting and operating extruders
Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adaptWhat's On Offer:
