We are working with a welcoming SEN Primary school in Barnet (EN5) who caters fopr children with learning difficulties and autism.
They are seeking an experienced SEN Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full‑time, permanent role, teaching a mixed group of KS1 pupils with additional needs.
Location: Barnet, EN5
Start Date: September 2026
Role: SEN Class Teacher – Mixed Year 1/2 Group
Contract: Full‑time, long‑term, permanent
Pay: M3-UPS3 (Outer London )
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach a mixed Year 1/2 SEN class, delivering differentiated learning
* Plan and implement lessons tailored to individual needs
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Work in line with EHCPs and individual learning plans
* Collaborate closely with Teaching Assistants and SEN staff
* Create a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
* Monitor and track pupil progress effectively
About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with SEN pupils is essential
* Confident teaching across KS1
* Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
* Calm, patient, and adaptable
