Location: London
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Working Pattern: Evening shifts (approx. 4pm–12am), flexibility required

About the Role

BugBusters UK Limited, a bespoke commercial cleaning company, is seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee and coordinate cleaning operations across multiple client sites. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on service delivery, team management, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Service Delivery

* Oversee cleaning operations across multiple contracts and sites

* Ensure services are delivered in line with contract specifications and company standards

* Conduct regular site visits and respond promptly to operational issues

People Management

* Manage Site Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders and Cleaning Operatives

* Support recruitment, rota planning, training, performance management and disciplinary processes

* Promote a positive, high-performance working culture

Client Management

* Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients

* Handle client queries and complaints professionally

* Attend client meetings and support service improvements

Quality, Health & Safety

* Carry out quality audits and implement corrective actions

* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations

* Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents and staff performance

Administration & Reporting

* Monitor staff hours, stock levels and site documentation

* Submit regular performance and operational reports

* Oversee inventory control and ordering

Requirements

* Proven experience in a Service Manager / Operations Manager role

* Background in commercial cleaning or facilities management preferred

* Strong leadership and people management skills

* Excellent communication and client-facing ability

* Good knowledge of Health & Safety and cleaning standards

* Ability to manage multiple sites in a fast-paced environment

* IT literate (Microsoft Office, scheduling systems)

* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
