Registered Manager – Residential & Dementia Care Home
We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 70-bed residential care service providing high-quality support for older adults, including residential, respite, and dementia care. The home offers a warm, homely environment with en-suite rooms, private patios, and a range of shared facilities designed to enhance resident wellbeing.
About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the safe, effective, and compassionate running of the service. You will lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding person-centred care to residents with a range of needs, including dementia, physical disabilities, mental health conditions, and complex care requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strong operational leadership for all aspects of the care home
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and CQC requirements
* Lead, support, and develop staff teams to maintain high-quality care delivery
* Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and clinical governance
* Manage budgets, occupancy, and service performance
* Foster strong relationships with residents, families, professionals, and regulators
* Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and continuous improvement
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a care setting
* Strong knowledge of dementia care and complex elderly care needs
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Sound understanding of regulatory compliance and quality assurance
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) preferred
* Passion for delivering high standards of person-centred care
