Location: Brooklands, Surrey
Contract: 6‑months
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 18:00
Rate: Approx. £18 per hour
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Stores Coordinator to support a busy motorsport freight operation based near Brooklands. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, operational environment, has strong administrative skills, and enjoys working as part of a close‑knit team where accuracy, reliability, and teamwork are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day administration and coordination of stores activities
Receiving, checking, and logging parts and equipment
Maintaining accurate stock records and related documentation
Supporting freight operations with timely preparation and dispatch of goods
Liaising with internal teams to ensure parts availability and operational deadlines are met
Keeping stores areas organised, compliant, and operationally efficient
Assisting with ad‑hoc operational tasks during peak workload periods
Skills & Experience Required
Strong administrative and organisational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Able to work effectively in a busy, time‑critical environment
Good communication skills and a collaborative team attitude
Previous experience in stores, logistics, freight, motorsport, or engineering environments preferred
Confident using IT systems (stock control systems, spreadsheets, email)
Personal Attributes
Reliable, flexible, and proactive
Calm under pressure with a practical, solution‑focused approach
Strong team ethic - teamwork is fundamental to success in this role
