Job Title – QA Technician
Location – Erith, Kent
Salary – £27,000 per annum (£12.50 per hour)
Shift – Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (40 hours per week)
Job Role of the QA Technician
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a QA Technician to join a growing and well-established food manufacturing business supplying high-profile UK retailers. This is an excellent role for someone with quality assurance experience who is looking to develop their technical skills and progress within a fast-paced, supportive environment.

You will be responsible for maintaining quality systems, supporting audits, and ensuring all products meet strict safety and compliance standards across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the QA Technician
Previous QA experience within a food manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety standards
Requirements for the QA Technician
Experience managing and maintaining HACCP systems
Knowledge of food safety and quality systems
Experience with internal audits (hygiene, glass, GMP)
Ability to handle quality control of raw materials and finished products
Experience investigating customer complaints and conducting root cause analysis
Strong communication skills when dealing with customers and suppliers
Desirable Requirements for the QA Technician
Understanding of BRC Global Standards
Experience supporting New Product Development (NPD)
Knowledge of SALSA standards
Experience with lab testing (microbiological, chemical, allergen)
The QA Technician will benefit from:
