Learning support opportunity in Buckingham, assisting students with additional needs in a welcoming and inclusive school setting.
Tradewind Recruitment are partnering with a highly supportive educational setting in Buckingham, Buckinghamshire to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant.
The school is recognised for its inclusive ethos, strong pastoral culture and commitment to ensuring every student reaches their full potential. Staff work collaboratively to create a calm, engaging and ambitious learning environment where students feel valued and supported.
Learning Support Assistant
Responsibilities include:
Supporting students in lessons on a one-to-one or small group basis
Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and learning activities
Encouraging confidence, independence and positive engagement
Supporting pupils with additional educational needs where required
Promoting safeguarding and student wellbeing at all times
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience working with children or young people
A patient, empathetic and adaptable approach
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A passion for supporting educational progress
An Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to undertake one
