Internal prototyping, tuning, testing, and gaining a deep understanding of complete system-level solutions
Hands-on building and testing of equipment
Testing of firmware and validation of software
Troubleshooting and identifying solutions for products already deployed in the field
Developing proof of concepts based on customer requirements
Interfacing with customers to understand product needs.

Requirements of this Applications & Test Engineer job based in Fareham:

Experience in a commercial facing post sales application engineer role.
Hands-on experience with electronic and firmware testing and fault finding
Experience within touch technology would be advantageous; candidates from HMI, semiconductor, or wider electronics industries will also be considered
A degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline (other qualifications considered with relevant skills)
Strong understanding of electronic circuit analysis and testing
