SEN English Teacher - Kingston
An exciting long-term opportunity has arisen at a welcoming and supportive special educational needs school in Kingston. The school is seeking a passionate and committed teacher to deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 English lessons, while also supporting wider curriculum.
The Role:
Plan and deliver creative and engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
Differentiate learning to support students with a range of SEN needs, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and communication difficulties
Build positive relationships that encourage confidence, independence, and academic progress
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, pastoral teams, and senior staff
Candidate Profile
QTS or relevant teaching qualification
Experience teaching English at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage learners of varying abilities
Previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential
