EHC Caseworker
Rate: £250 per day (Umbrella)
Contract: Short-term / Interim
Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days office-based)
A Local Authority is seeking an experienced EHC Caseworker to provide short-term cover for an existing caseload within a busy SEND service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans
Draft and amend Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) to a high standard
Coordinate and lead Annual Reviews
Work collaboratively with families, schools, and multi-agency professionals
Ensure compliance with statutory SEND processes and timelinesRequirements
Proven experience working as an EHC / EHCP Caseworker within a Local Authority
Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and statutory processes
Demonstrable experience producing EHCPs end-to-end
Experience chairing or managing Annual Reviews
Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervisionWorking Arrangements
Hybrid/agile working model
Office attendance required 2 days per week (Monday and Thursday)
Remaining days worked remotely
