Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Stratford - September Start - Full Time
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive school based in Stratford for a September start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong HLTA who is ready to take on additional classroom responsibility, lead interventions, and support pupils across the school.
The school is looking for someone proactive, reliable, and confident working with pupils across a range of abilities, including students with SEN and additional learning needs.
The Role:
Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Lead small group interventions and booster sessions
Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 depending on school need
Assist with lesson preparation, classroom resources, and learning activities
Support pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
Help manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and senior leadersThe Ideal Candidate Will:
Have previous HLTA or strong Teaching Assistant experience
HLTA qualification is highly desirable
Be confident covering lessons and leading groups
Have strong behaviour management skills
Be organised, adaptable, and proactive
Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
Be passionate about supporting children's learning and developmentThe Role Offers:
