Duration: to January 2027 but could be extended
Hours: 8am - 4pm with 30 mins unpaid lunch, 15 min paid break, Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £13.59 per hour (incremental increases available following successful training on new products)

Polytec are looking for an Assembly Technician to support the assembly, testing, inspection and packaging of laboratory consumables in a controlled manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
• Assemble, test, inspect and pack products following work instructions
• Meet daily production and quality targets
• Maintain clean and organised work areas
• Complete production records accurately
• Replenish materials and support stock control
• Work with team leaders to resolve production issues
• Support additional tasks as required

Requirements
• Experience in manufacturing or assembly environments would be useful, but not essential
• Ability to meet quality and output targets
• Good attention to detail and teamwork skills
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work and changing environments
