We’re searching for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and highly respected operation maintaining a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles and plant equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in keeping essential equipment running safely and efficiently.
You’ll be joining a supportive team where your knowledge and experience are valued, with long-term career stability and excellent opportunities to grow.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Carrying out inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles and plant
* Diagnosing faults and completing preventative maintenance
* Ensuring vehicles meet Department of Transport standards
* Reducing equipment downtime and supporting fleet performance
* Completing service reports and raising work orders using fleet systems
* Ordering parts and managing maintenance records digitally
* Working safely and always following all Health & Safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* City & Guilds qualification in Light & Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
* Proven experience working on commercial vehicles and plant machinery
* Good computer literacy and experience with fleet management systems
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* The ability to make practical, cost-effective maintenance decisions
* A strong understanding of safety and environmental responsibilities
