About the School

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Bury area that is seeking to appoint a dedicated Early Years Teacher from September 2026.

The school is well-regarded for its nurturing ethos, supportive leadership, and commitment to providing a strong foundation for all children. Staff work collaboratively to create a stimulating and engaging Early Years environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and independence.

The Role

As an Early Years Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring that all pupils receive the support and guidance needed to thrive during the early stages of their education.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
Promote positive behaviour through consistent and nurturing strategies
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience within an Early Years setting
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
Be patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic in their approach
Possess effective classroom and behaviour management skills
Be committed to supporting the development and wellbeing of young learners

Eligibility Requirements:

Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
