An established and highly regarded MEP contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join the delivery team on a flagship Data Centre development in Buckinaghamshire.

This is a long-term opportunity on a technically complex, high-value 48MW Data Centre project, offering excellent stability, career progression, and the chance to work alongside one of the industry’s leading delivery teams.

The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a contractor with a strong reputation for delivering large-scale MEP projects across the UK and Europe within sectors including:

* Data Centres

* Commercial

* Life Sciences

* Infrastructure

Known for delivering technically demanding schemes and high-value MEP packages, the business provides fully integrated building services solutions from design through to commissioning and handover.

With a strong pipeline of secured work, this role offers genuine long-term prospects and progression onto future flagship developments.

The Role

As Mechanical Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day mechanical delivery on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing mechanical installation activities across the project

* Coordinating subcontractors, labour, and specialist packages

* Overseeing HVAC, pipework, plant room, and associated mechanical systems

* Driving programme, sequencing, and short-term planning

* Monitoring installation quality and technical compliance

* Managing site reporting, technical queries, and coordination issues

* Working closely with Project Managers, consultants, and client teams

* Ensuring HSE procedures and site standards are maintained

* Supporting commissioning, snagging, and final handover

* Coordinating with other trades to ensure smooth project delivery

What They’re Looking For

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager on major projects

* Strong mechanical building services background

* Previous Data Centre or mission critical experience highly desirable

* Experience delivering large-scale MEP installations

* Good technical understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems

* Strong leadership and coordination skills

* Ability to work within fast-paced project environments
