FPGA Engineer

Nuneaton | Hybrid Working | Up to £55,000 + Bonus + Training (Depending on experience)

An established and highly specialised FPGA engineering consultancy is looking to recruit an FPGA Engineer to join its growing technical team in Nuneaton.

Founded over 14 years ago, the business works with a wide range of UK and European clients across industries including telecommunications, defence, aerospace, audio, medical technology, aviation, and cybersecurity. The company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality FPGA solutions and maintains close partnerships with leading FPGA vendors including AMD (Xilinx) and Microchip.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to further develop their FPGA career within a technically collaborative environment, working alongside experienced engineers with decades of FPGA expertise.

The Role

You will support a variety of FPGA development projects covering areas such as:

FPGA design
Verification and validation
System integration
Full lifecycle project deliveryProjects vary across multiple sectors and technologies, giving engineers the opportunity to broaden their technical exposure while working within a supportive and highly experienced team.

You will receive mentorship from senior FPGA engineers and have access to ongoing professional development and vendor-certified training programmes.

Required Skills & Experience

2-3 years' commercial FPGA experience minimum
Strong VHDL development experience
Good understanding of electronics fundamentals
Degree qualified in Electronics, Electronic Engineering, or a related disciplineWhy Join?
