We are seeking a talented and driven Associate Building Surveyor to join our client’s dynamic team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career within a forward-thinking and supportive environment.

The Role:

As an Associate Building Surveyor, you will deliver high-quality professional services across a variety of projects. You will provide expert advice to clients on all aspects of building surveying, including contract administration, dilapidations, condition surveys, and project management. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.

Key Responsibilities for the Associate Building Surveyor:

Conduct detailed building surveys and produce comprehensive reports.

Oversee and manage repair, maintenance, and refurbishment projects.

Provide expert advice on dilapidations, building defects, and property issues.

Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring high standards are met.

Support and mentor junior surveyors and trainees, maximising their development opportunities.

Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.

Requirements for the Associate Building Surveyor:

MRICS qualification with a proven track record in building surveying.

Strong technical knowledge of building construction, regulations, and industry best practices.

Experience managing projects and leading teams.

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
