Location: Chelmsford, Essex (site-based)

Overview
We are looking for a Digital Transformation Lead to take ownership of our end-to-end digital capability and drive the next phase of our Smart Factory journey. This is a high-impact role focused on delivering real outcomes—using AI, automation and data to improve productivity, efficiency and how work gets done across the business. Key Responsibilities
* Own and deliver the digital transformation strategy and roadmap
* Drive adoption of AI and automation across all business areas
* Lead process improvement initiatives across operations and support functions
* Oversee digital infrastructure, systems and platforms
* Manage and prioritise a small in-house development team
* Partner with senior leaders to deliver measurable business improvements

* Strong experience across Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Power Platform, Azure)
* A strategic mindset with the ability to translate tech into business outcomes
* Experience leading digital change or transformation programmes
* Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability
* Understanding of data, AI and automation in a commercial environment
