SEN Teaching Assistant - Richmond

Full-time | Long-term | ASAP / September start

I'm currently working with a really supportive SEN school in Richmond who are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The school supports students with a range of needs including ASD, SEMH and additional learning needs, so they're looking for someone who is confident supporting behaviour, building relationships and working closely with students on a 1:1 or small group basis.

The role will involve:

Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups

Assisting the teacher with lesson delivery

Helping manage behaviour in a calm and consistent way

Supporting students with EHCPs

Creating a positive and engaging learning environment

They're looking for someone who:

Has experience working with SEN (ASD, SEMH, ADHD etc.)

Is confident supporting behaviour and de-escalation

Is patient, resilient and proactive

Can build strong relationships with students and staff

Must have a Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service
