SEN Teaching Assistant - Kilburn
Location: Kilburn, North West London
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, until July 2027
Pay: £90 - £100 per day
We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Kilburn.
This is a full-time, long-term role supporting children with SEN across KS1 and KS2, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. The school is looking for someone who is confident, proactive, and able to hit the ground running from day one.
The Role
Supporting pupils with a range of SEN and complex needs
Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions across KS1 and KS2
Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO
Promoting pupil engagement, progress, and wellbeing
Requirements
Minimum 6 months' experience supporting children with SEN and complex needs
Strong understanding of how to support pupils with additional needs in a school setting
Positive, patient, and adaptable approach
Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
Genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
