Grounds Maintenance Operative - North & East London

Barker Ross are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our client's team covering the North & East London area, including Tower Hamlets, Wood Green, and surrounding locations.

This is a hands-on outdoor role ideal for candidates who enjoy working outside and take pride in maintaining public and green spaces to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, and general grounds maintenance
Using hand tools and powered equipment safely and effectively
Maintaining outdoor areas to a high standard
Travelling between local sites during the working day
Working independently and as part of a team

Requirements

Valid UK manual driving licence (essential)
Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping, or gardening experience essential
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
Must live within a commutable distance of North or East London
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

What's on Offer

£14.80 per hour PAYE
Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
Company vehicle provided during working hours
