Office Administrator (Part-Time) – Grimsby – £28,000–£32,000 Pro Rata

Chase & Holland are partnering with a well-established organisation in Grimsby to recruit a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator for a 6 to 9 month contract, with the potential to become permanent. The role will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business by providing efficient administrative support and maintaining effective communication across departments, suppliers, and customers.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational abilities, strong attention to detail, and the capability to manage a varied workload in a busy office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Raising and processing purchase orders
Maintaining accurate filing systems, records, and databases
Managing incoming calls, emails, and general correspondence
Assisting with invoice processing and supplier communication
Monitoring office supplies and arranging orders when needed
Scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars
Updating spreadsheets, reports, and internal systems
Providing general administrative support across the business
Coordinating deliveries and monitoring outstanding orders
Ensuring office procedures are followed effectively
Supporting management and wider departments with administrative tasks
Working Hours Tuesday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (flexible)

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience in an administration or office support position
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure
Professional, positive, and proactive approach
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
