Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Housing Support Worker to join a Housing Association in the Leicester area on an ongoing temporary basis. This role is community based and requires a Drivers Licence.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver person-centred support to individuals with multiple and complex needs.
* Provide short-term caseload cover during staff absence or increased service demand.
* Support service users to achieve goals within their support plans.
* Deliver drop-in sessions, group activities and resident meetings.
* Encourage independent living skills including budgeting, tenancy management and interpersonal skills.
* Support residents to access education, training, employment and community opportunities.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Experience supporting people with multiple and complex needs.
* Ability to build positive and empowering relationships with vulnerable adults.
* Experience of support planning, outcome monitoring and resident engagement.
* Good understanding of safeguarding and reporting procedures.
