Senior Architect

A highly regarded specialist architectural practice is looking to appoint a Senior Architect to join its growing team in the East Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Architect to take ownership of bespoke residential projects within a niche and rewarding sector. The practice operates nationally and has developed a strong reputation for delivering tailored design solutions on technically challenging schemes.

The successful candidate will become a key part of a collaborative and supportive team, working across a range of residential adaptation, refurbishment and new-build projects.

The Role

Lead and manage projects from concept through to completion
Oversee project quality and technical delivery
Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, contractors and local authorities
Support and mentor junior team members
Contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice
Produce high-quality technical drawing packages and specifications
Attend site visits and client meetings nationally as requiredRequirements

Qualified Architect with significant post-Part III experience
Proven experience leading projects and managing teams
Strong residential design and technical detailing ability
Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations
Knowledge of accessible design principles advantageous
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
AutoCAD experience essential
NBS specification knowledge beneficial
