Senior or Associate Architect

Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior or Associate Architect to join a growing team in Chester and play a key role in the continued development of the office.
This position would suit an ambitious Architect looking to take the next step in their career, whether that's progressing from Senior Architect into an Associate-level role or building on existing Associate experience within a collaborative and growing environment. You'll lead projects across a diverse range of sectors, working through all RIBA stages while helping shape the future growth of the Chester office.
The Role
Joining an established multidisciplinary consultancy that has been operating for over 60 years, you'll work alongside colleagues across Architecture, Building Surveying, Town Planning and Principal Designer disciplines to deliver projects throughout the UK.
Working across sectors including education, commercial, institutional and leisure, you will be responsible for leading projects from concept through to completion, coordinating clients, consultants and project teams while ensuring high standards of both design and technical delivery.
You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the Chester office, developing client relationships, supporting business development activities and helping strengthen the office's presence within the region.
Key Responsibilities
Lead architectural projects through all RIBA stages
Manage and coordinate clients, consultants and project stakeholders
Support both the design and technical delivery of projects
Produce and review technical drawings, specifications and project information
Present design proposals and technical solutions to clients and project teams
Attend client meetings and site visits throughout project delivery
Ensure projects are delivered to agreed programmes, budgets and quality standards
Contribute to the continued growth and development of the Chester office
Support business development activities and client relationship management
Work collaboratively with colleagues across Architecture, Building Surveying, Town Planning and Principal Designer teamsAbout You
To be considered for this role, you will be a qualified Architect with a minimum of 5 years' post-Part III experience and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects across multiple sectors.
You will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage projects from concept through to completion. Equally important is the ambition to play an active role in the development of a growing office and contribute to its long-term success.
Requirements
Qualified Architect with a minimum of 5 years' post-Part III experience
Strong experience across all RIBA stages
Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of UK Building Regulations
Strong Revit proficiency with proven project experience
Experience coordinating clients, consultants and project teams
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ambitious, proactive and commercially aware
