Registered Manager | Children’s Residential Home | Staffordshire
Stephen James Consulting is partnering with a growing care provider to recruit experienced Registered Managers for children’s residential homes across the Staffordshire area.
These homes support young people with learning disabilities and emotional & behavioural difficulties (LD/EBD), offering a structured and nurturing environment focused on positive outcomes and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day running of a children’s residential home
* Ensure safeguarding and care standards are maintained in line with Ofsted regulations
* Lead, mentor, and support the staff team
* Drive positive outcomes for young people through effective leadership
* Manage compliance, audits, and operational requirements
* Build strong relationships with professionals, families, and external agencies
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a children’s residential setting
* At least 3 years’ combined experience across Deputy Manager and Registered Manager positions
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and Ofsted standards
* Experience supporting young people with LD/EBD
* Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
* Confident leadership style with a hands-on approach to management
These opportunities are based within small homes, providing a supportive environment with a strong focus on quality care and outcomes.
This role offers a salary of: Up to £60,000 depending on experience.
