A leading technology organisation is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support a high-profile engineering programme based in Edinburgh.

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on advanced engineering projects within a highly regulated environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of complex mechanical systems, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Requirements

Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within complex engineering environments
Strong background in mechanical design, development, and documentation
Experience using industry-standard CAD tools
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Active SC Clearance is essential

Contract Details

Location: Edinburgh
Contract Type: Outside IR35
Working Pattern: 3-4 days per week onsite
Rate: Negotiable depending on experience and suitability

Additional Information

Due to the nature of the project, candidates must already hold active SC clearance.
