Welder / Fabricator 13-Week Contract | Potential Permanent Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join a busy engineering workshop specialising in heavy-duty fabrication work. This is a hands-on, workshop-based role working from engineering drawings to fabricate and assemble high-quality steel components.

Responsibilities

* Monday to Thursday

* 7:00am – 5:30pm

* 40 hours per week

* MIG weld heavy gauge mild steel and Hardox wear plate

* Fabricate and assemble mixer components and structural sections

* Read and work accurately from engineering drawings

* Grind, cut, fit, and finish fabricated steel components

* Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets required standards

Requirements

* Proven MIG welding and fabrication experience

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Experience working with heavy gauge steel

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Good understanding of workshop health and safety

* Reliable, hardworking, and punctual attitude

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment
