As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the curriculum. You will provide in-class support, work with small groups, and help create an engaging and well-organised learning environment where all children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
Assist with preparing learning resources and classroom displays.
Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and independence.
Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.
Requirements:
Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
A positive, patient, and proactive approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil well-being.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
