Our client is looking to recruit a highly skilled Senior Diagnostic Technician to join their busy workshop. This is an ideal role for a professional with a proven track record in vehicle diagnostics and repairs, seeking to work in a modern environment with supportive colleagues.

Opportunities to work on diagnostics, electric vehicles, and AC/HVAC systemsDuties of a Senior Diagnostic Technician:

Diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
Service, maintain, and repair vehicles across all makes and models, including hybrid and electric vehicles
Specialise in AC/HVAC cooling systems and EV technology
Carry out MOT preparation and repair work adhering to industry standards
Support and mentor junior technicians when required
Complete repairs efficiently within the set timeframes and maintain high quality standardsRequirements of a Senior Diagnostic Technician:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician or Diagnostic Technician
Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is essential
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Previous experience within a main dealer or independent garage environment
Experience with EV systems and AC/HVAC cooling systems is desirable
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
