Certain Advantage are recruiting on behalf of our established Engineering client for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis to support the maintenance team.

You will be involved in preparing and carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance scheduling in line with shift requirements. Key focus for this position is to increase productivity and optimise machine efficiency resulting in a reduction in downtime and increased OEE.

Your responsibilities:

Identify the root cause of mechanical and electrical problems
Fault-finding on motors and drives without explicit direction and thorough testing after repair.
Document all actions and results
Attend breakdowns and fault find in a timely manner to maximise equipment uptime.
Work closely with the production department to coordinate preventative maintenance routines and equipment availability.
Perform regular inspections to Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems and perform repairs as required.
Work as part of a team as well as an individual whilst adhering to all H&S regulations and safety standards.
Knowledge/Qualifications

Multi-Skilled, time served with mechanical bias and some electrical exposure.
Experience of working with TPM or PPM systems.
Experience in medium to heavy engineering and knowledge of Hydraulics and Heat treatment processes.
Welding experience.
