This role is ideal for someone eager to sharpen their hardware testing skills, gain exposure to modern practices, and contribute from day one within a busy engineering team.
Initial 6 month contract, with high probability to be extended and/or made permanent for the right person (if wanted).
The role would suit an experienced Test Technician/Engineer from an electronics/manufacturing background, or a graduate engineer with an interest in hardware systems and testing.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with hardware validation, firmware regression, and system-level testing
Setting up and configuring test environments, including both hardware and software components
Executing defined manual and automated tests, identifying issues and logging them clearly
Supporting the creation and enhancement of automated test solutions, including fixtures and software tools
Producing accurate, structured reports to communicate test results and findings
Contributing ideas to improve testing workflows and delivery quality
Experience/Skills:
Engineering degree or 1+ year of relevant experience
Strong interest in hardware systems and testing
Awareness of different testing approaches
Familiarity with operating systems and basic programming concepts (e.g. C# or similar)
A motivated, detail-oriented individual keen to learn and contribute
