The Role

An established and growing engineering manufacturer is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to join its production and engineering team. This role involves testing, fault-finding, and supporting the development of advanced electronic systems for high-performance industrial applications.

You will be responsible for carrying out functional testing, diagnosing faults to component level, and supporting continuous improvement within the production process. The position requires a strong understanding of electronic principles and the ability to work from technical documentation and schematics.

Key Responsibilities

* Testing and fault-finding of electronic assemblies to component level

* Interpreting circuit diagrams and technical drawings

* Using oscilloscopes, multimeters and automated test equipment

* Supporting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions

* Assisting with process improvements and documentation updates

* Ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with internal procedures

The Role

Proven experience in an electronics test or technician role

Strong fault-finding capability down to component level

Confident reading schematic diagrams

Experience with soldering and PCB repair

Familiar with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters and automated test systems

Methodical, detail-oriented and able to work independently

The Salary
£25,000- £27,00 depending on experience
