Overview:

We have an urgent requirement, our client is seeking multiple skilled PCB Assemblers to their business. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling printed circuit boards to a high standard, working from technical drawings and specifications. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and experience working with both through-hole and surface mount components.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) using through-hole and/or surface mount (SMT) techniques
Work from engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
Solder components including resistors, capacitors, ICs, and connectors
Inspect and test assembled boards to ensure quality standards are met
Identify and report faults or inconsistencies in components or documentation
Rework and repair PCBs where required
Maintain a clean and organised work environment in line with health & safety standardsRequirements:

Previous experience in PCB assembly
Strong soldering skills (through-hole and/or SMT)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good manual dexterity
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamDesirable:

Experience working with older design boards
Familiarity with IPC standards (e.g. IPC-A-610)
Experience in a manufacturing or electronics environment
