Job Description:
We’re seeking a Production/Manufacturing Engineer to join our high-performance Manufacturing Team, delivering precision components in a fast-paced environment.
Our operations span two advanced manufacturing facilities in Northampton, featuring 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines, mill-turns, lathes and grinders supported by automation for complex, high-precision production. With internal design, build, and test, all processes are fully integrated through Siemens NX and Teamcenter, ensuring seamless collaboration from concept to completion.
The Role:
Develop & optimise multi-axis CNC programs using CAM.
Design and implement production fixturing.
Take ownership of manufacturing processes from concept to production.
Support new product introduction, tooling, and process development.
Support shopfloor staff, driving continuous improvement.
Estimate production times and costs, managing BOMs.
Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
Support the Company’s compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 by following company policy and best practice.
Candidate Profile:
Strong CAM programming experience (ideally Siemens NX).
Background in automotive, motorsport, aerospace or precision engineering.
Previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, CAM Programmer, or Production Engineer.
Experience in fixture design.
Strong understanding of GD&T.
Apprentice-trained (HNC, HND or Bachelor’s degree).
Hands-on problem solver, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Teamcenter, Vericut, or SAP experience is a plus
