We are currently representing a leading independent planning and development consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Town Planner to join its growing Leeds office. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic and collaborative team on a wide-ranging portfolio of high-profile projects across the UK.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering expert planning advice across sectors including residential, mixed-use, commercial, logistics, and regeneration developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a variety of planning applications and appeals from inception through to determination
Providing strategic planning advice to clients and stakeholders
Preparing planning statements, site appraisals, and supporting documentation
Managing client relationships and attending meetings with local authorities and project teams
Supporting junior team members and contributing to business development activities
Keeping up to date with planning policy and legislative changesRequirements:

MRTPI qualified (or working towards chartership with relevant experience)
Proven experience within a planning consultancy or local authority environment
Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
Excellent report writing and communication skills
Commercial awareness and client-facing experience
