Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Working Pattern: Fully office-based
Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Receptionist to provide short-term cover for a busy office in Cheadle. This is a front-of-house role requiring excellent communication skills, a welcoming manner, and the ability to manage light administrative duties alongside reception responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Meeting and greeting visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Answering and directing incoming calls and emails
Managing the reception area and ensuring it remains presentable
Handling incoming and outgoing post/deliveries
Booking meeting rooms and supporting general office coordination
Updating trackers and maintaining spreadsheets
Assisting with light administrative tasks as requiredRequirements
Previous reception, front-of-house, or administrative experience preferred
Confident communication and interpersonal skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Organised, dependable, and able to multitask effectively
Available to start immediately and commit to the full 1-month assignmentAdditional Information
