Big Data Modeler vacancy for our Zürich based client in the Banking sector.
Your tasks:
- An IT professional with strong banking experience
- responsible for capturing and modelling data requirements. Data definitions, business rules, data quality.
- Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy.
- Closely collaborate with the Data & Analytes Program Management and stakeholders to co-design Enterprise Data Strategy and Common Data Model.
- Development, coordination, and implementation of principles, best practices, guidelines, and standards for Common Data Model and its consistency
Your experience/knowledge:
- At least five years of professional experience with physical and relational data modelling.
- Experience in large data migration projects and Big Data on-prem architecture (Lambda Architecture, Apache Stack).
- Strong understanding of data modelling tools (cleansing, Meta Data etc.)
- Language skills: English fluent, German conversational.
Your soft skills:
- Excellent comprehension skills with attention to detail
- A high degree of self-organisation and time management
- Analytical and solution-orientated thinking
