Facilities Manager
The Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities has an immediate opening for a FACILITIES MANAGER. This employee will be responsible for developing preventative maintenance schedules for all Board facilities, including facility maintenance, equipment, pest control services, and grounds maintenance. Responsibilities also include overseeing minor repairs to facilities and equipment, and ongoing maintenance of all cleaning equipment, boilers and heating systems. Must also oversee and manage all remodeling and major equipment installation, maintenance of swimming pool at our school, building inspections, and the supervision of custodial staff. A high school diploma or GED required, with some technical schooling preferred. Experience with facility management or building maintenance required. Candidates should have at least five years total related experience in the various construction trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, etc.). Must have previous experience managing direct reports. Experience managing in a union environment a plus. Evidence of a valid driver's license in state of residence, good driving record and full liability coverage on any vehicle used for work-related purposes. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess computer skills in various word processing and database management programs. Must possess demonstrated knowledge of building automated systems, standard cleaning procedures, and workplace hazardous materials information. Competitive salary and excellent benefits.
