Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is looking for a Technical Architect to be a key member of their global implementation programme, working on a complex banking transformation initiative. This role will focus on designing and delivering cutting-edge technology solutions, including Python development, smart contract implementation, and Vault core banking system integration. If you have a strong technical background and experience in large-scale financial services projects, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.
Location: Remote / Hybrid - More London
Contract Duration: 4-6 months (with possible extension)
What You’ll Do:
* Provide technical leadership and guide development teams to align with architectural vision.
* Lead the solution design for complex technical systems, including data models, APIs, and security.
* Develop high-performance and scalable Python applications.
* Design and implement smart contracts to enhance financial transactions.
* Integrate with Vault core banking systems to ensure seamless functionality.
* Apply expertise in Thought Machine technology to optimize solution delivery.
* Work across all phases of the design lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams for successful execution.
Key Skills and experience:
* Proven experience as a Technical Architect in large-scale projects, preferably in financial services.
* Strong Python development skills, with a focus on performance and scalability.
* Hands-on experience with smart contracts and related frameworks.
* Solid understanding of Vault core banking systems and integration strategies.
* Familiarity with loan origination, core banking processes, and regulatory compliance.
* Experience across all phases of the design lifecycle, with best practice knowledge.
* Working experience with Thought Machine technology is a plus.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* Certifications in architecture, cloud technologies, or financial services are a plus
