Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our supported living services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing care services, ensuring high-quality care for service users, and leading a team of professionals in a supported living, residential or home care environment. This role requires a compassionate leader who can effectively manage resources while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

Duties

* Supervise and support staff in delivering exceptional care to service users, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.

* Oversee any medication administration processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices.

* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance the quality of care provided.

* Manage day-to-day operations of the facilities, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.

* Conduct regular assessments of care plans.

* Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional development, and employee satisfaction.

* Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies to maintain open lines of communication regarding care.

* Monitor financial performance and assist in budget preparation to ensure efficient use of resources.

Skills

* Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.

* Experience as an Ops Manager, or Area Manager or Regional Manager

* Previous experience of being a Registered Manager

* Strong supervisory skills with a focus on quality assurance in care delivery.

* Background in senior care is essential.

* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

* Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with service users, families and staff

* A compassionate approach to care management that prioritises the well-being of residents.

* A level 5 in health & social care
