Frontend Developer – Mid Level | Ecommerce | Vue.js | Hybrid | £45,000 - £55,000
We are excited to be working with a much-loved e-commerce business in Norwich who are looking for a Frontend Developer to join their team.
You will be responsible for writing good code and advancing the user and developer experience across their web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities
Delivering features within agreed timelines to a high engineering standard
Advancing the user experience, developer experience and customer value of their products
Writing good quality code and following best practices
Writing detailed documentation and robust unit tests to support technical solutions
Following and promoting agreed ways of working within the team
Providing meaningful contributions to technical discussions in team ceremonies
Building strong relationships with other engineers, testers, designers and product managers across the departmentTechnical Skills
Experienced mid-level front end engineer
Excellent knowledge of JavaScript / Typescript
Solid understanding of the Vue framework and ecosystem (Vue 2, Vue 3), or the familiarity with other frameworks (React or Angular)
Good knowledge of Vue State Management libraries
Experience contributing to large-scale, commercial web applications
Good understanding of modern front-end architecture patterns
Good knowledge of mobile-first and responsive development patterns, as well as modern styling techniques (CSS, Sass, design systems etc)
Proficient with Git source control and CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins)
Experience working within cross-discipline product teams and agile workflows
Familiarity with performance optimisation techniques and knowledge of web security vulnerabilities
Good knowledge of accessibility standards, SEO and semantic HTML
Experience using and developing content management systemsBenefits / Package
