Senior Java Developer

I am currently working with a fast-growing product company and a preferred Google ISV partner who have offices throughout the globe, and are on the lookout for a Senior Java Developer to join their team on a permanent-basis due to growth. The role is fully remote working.

The company is one of the leading API portal providers, and offers an AI-enabled API Marketplace platform that empowers enterprises to maximize the strategic value of their digital ecosystems.

The company has a global presence with offices in the UK, India, and Canada. The company has emerged as a global force in the API and cloud engineering space, where they serve clients across diverse industries including Banking, Insurance, Telecom, Healthcare, Retail and Media.

Responsibilities:

* Following best practices TDD / Clean code

* Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency Java code

* Application for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance

* Work across the full SDLC

* Develop well-designed, tested, and efficient code

* Support continuous improvement by investigating new technologies and presenting these for architectural review

Must have experience:

* Strong TDD approach and understand the benefits of using TDD & Clean Code

* Heavy API Based work

* Experience with Distributed Systems / Enterprise Design patterns

* Strong Java Development

* Springboot Microservices

* Cloud experience (Ideally GCP but AWS/Azure is fine)

* SQL/NoSQL experience (MongoDB / Cassandra / CouchDB)

* Infrastructure experience Docker / OpenStack

* Experience with RESTful APIs

* Build tools- Maven/Gradle

* CI/CD (Jenkins / PaaS / Gitlab)

Desirable Skills:

* GraphQL

* Angular

* Kafka or similar
