Our client is seeking for a Technical Program Manager with hands on experience on Azure and MS Fabric in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is an FTE role with hybrid working model.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end technical programme management of data project.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Mandatory Skills:

Azure, MS Fabric, Benefits Management, Project Financial Management, Project Governance, Project Planning and Scheduling, Quality Management, Resource Management, Schedule Management, Scope & Change Management, Stakeholder Management

  1. 15+ years of experience in data management and analytics.
  2. Proven experience in leading data projects and technical programme management.
  3. Experience in working on Agile and delivering projects successfully on Agile methodology
  4. Knowledge of MS Fabric and its application within the Azure ecosystem will be an advantage
  5. Demonstrated experience of working in an end-to-end data platform from ingestion to reporting
  6. Knowledge of ETL, ADO, CI/CD, Data Pipelines, Data Factory
  7. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  8. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  9. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Certifications in project management (eg, SCM, PMP, PRINCE2).
  2. Experience with other data management tools and technologies
  3. Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in data and analytics.
