Our client, a global system integrator, is looking for multiple Desktop Support Technicians for a 6-month contract based in Boston, MA. This is an exciting opportunity to provide essential IT support and help users get the most out of their systems!
- Location: Boston, MA (onsite work required, 5 days a week)
- Day Rate: Competitive (negotiable based on experience)
- Contract Duration: 3 months (potential for permanent position once contract ends)
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle help requests from users via phone and work orders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop hardware/software issues.
- Install and upgrade software, configure systems, and perform system backups.
- Track and document the troubleshooting process until issues are resolved.
- Create help guides and knowledge base articles for users.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of computer hardware and desktop operating systems (Microsoft and Mac OS X).
- Experience in application support and using diagnostic tools.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
