Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture detailed business requirements related to payment systems, particularly focusing on SEPA Instant Payments.
- Process Mapping: Document current and future state business processes, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Gap Analysis: Conduct a thorough gap analysis between existing payment processes and desired future states, identifying risks, dependencies, and impacts on the business.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, Compliance, and external vendors, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Solution Design: Partner with IT teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and work closely with developers to ensure the solution meets the business needs.
- Testing & Validation: Assist in the development and execution of test plans, ensuring the delivered solutions meet the required standards and business objectives.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including business cases, requirements documents, process flows, and user guides.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users during and after the implementation of new payment systems or processes.
Required Skills and Experience
- Payments Expertise: Extensive experience in the payments industry, with a strong focus on SEPA Instant Payments.
- Business Analysis: Proven track record of working as a Business Analyst within financial services, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- SEPA Instant Payments: In-depth understanding of SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) and instant payment processes, standards, and regulations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and manage a variety of stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
- Process Improvement: Experience in process mapping, gap analysis, and identifying opportunities for process improvement within payment operations.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to work closely with technical teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into functional specifications.
- Project Management: Experience in managing multiple priorities within a project-based environment, ensuring timely and successful delivery of business initiatives.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
