Event Manager - IT Service Management

Role Overview
As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operationalizing the Event Management module in the IT Service Management tool (ServiceNow). You will collaborate with global IT teams to optimize the IT Event Management process, ensuring high system availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess & Analyze
- Evaluate the current IT Service Management tool setup and its Event Management capabilities.
- Analyze the application landscape and infrastructure to identify areas where IT Event Management can add value.
- Design & Implementation
- Develop a structured IT Event Management process aligned with best practices.
- Configure and deploy the Event Management module within ServiceNow.
- Ensure seamless integration with existing IT Service Management processes.
- Operationalization & Handover
- Ensure the implemented solution is fully operational and meets stakeholder requirements.
- Provide knowledge transfer and documentation for the IT Service Management team.
- Reporting & Collaboration
- Generate management reports on implementation progress and ongoing operations.
- Collaborate with IT teams across APAC, Amsterdam, and Chicago on global initiatives and projects.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Must-Have:
- 7-10 years of experience in an IT environment, with at least 3 years of IT Event Management implementation.
- Proven expertise in ServiceNow Event Management module and IT Service Management tools.
- Strong knowledge of IT Service Management processes (ITIL framework).
- Experience designing and deploying IT Event Management processes in financial services.
- Preferred:
- ITIL v4 Certification.
- Familiarity with the NIST framework.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT or a related field.

- Strong communication skills to engage with all organizational levels, including senior management.
