IT Support Engineer
IT Support Engineer - £200 per day via Umbrella - 5-month contract - Bristol (Hybrid) - SCC Flex Contract
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer with excellent communication skillswho will be the first line of support for our customer's local and remote users.
Your responsibilities as the IT Support Engineer:
- Provide front-line support on software and hardware issues.
- Respond to customer queries and resolve application/data issues.
- Ensure backup and recovery strategies are in place.
- Maintain a proactive support attitude and seek root causes.
- Answer incoming calls and provide technical support.
- Identify and manage critical incidents.
- Test and evaluate new technology.
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Log incidents and update troubleshooting notes.
As a successful IT Support Engineer, you will have:
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 & 11, Windows Server.
- Experience with Active Directory, Intune, Entra, and Azure AD.
- Basic network troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in Critical Incident Management is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate flexibility and ownership.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and capable of outstanding leadership.
