Java Algorithmic Developer - eFX Trading Desk
Join a dynamic eFX desk within an investment bank, where you'll be working directly alongside traders, developing and optimising algorithms for pricing, hedging, and trading. In this role, you will support high-performance Java-based trading logic, with an emphasis on low-latency systems. You'll gain unique, hands-on experience across the entire trading life cycle and work closely with a global team.
Key requirements:
- Programming Skills: Strong Java, with an emphasis on optimising code for performance and low latency. Experience in algorithmic trading, although advantageous, is not essential
- Market Knowledge: Basic understanding of financial markets, especially FX or other asset classes. Familiarity with pricing, hedging, and trading principles is a plus
- Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and optimize complex trading algorithms.
- Environment: Prior experience in a trading or finance environment, with exposure to Quant and Trading teams. Interest or aptitude for trading logic and business insights is essential.
