We are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Subject Matter Expert (SME) to mentor and coach lower level engineers and support the Desktop Manager with strategy, project improvements with an eye on BAU support.

Following skills and experience required:-

  • 5+ years Microsoft Desktop/End User support experience
  • Strong M365 Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), InTune etc. ideally SME level
  • Ability to exploit and enhance our clients future M365 environment
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of efficiently identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a commitment to a customer-centric mindset
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Awareness of different tech and have the gravitas to challenge
  • Be assertive and a tech influencer to work with the strategy team to shape the future corporate desktop roadmap
  • Good mentoring & coaching skills to develop more junior team members a want to share knowledge
  • Microsoft Certification(s) etc.
  • Level of Cyber Essentials/good Security awareness (not an SME)
  • Change/transformation experience is desirable
  • A background in working for a Managed Service Provider (would be ideal) or IT service environment
  • Solution Architecture & Design in this area exposure would be desirable
  • A broad IT knowledge
